How to choose the right tires

The procedure described below is valid for Carrera tires.

We have already written that a different type of tire is intended for each Carrera car, in some cases there is one type of tire for the same series of cars. Therefore, it is very important to choose the right type of tire for your car. How to proceed?

Fortunately, Carrera provides a spare parts catalog for the 1:24 and 1:32 scale car ranges in which the correct tire code can be found. Although there is also a catalog for the 1:43 scale (Go!, Go Plus, Start), tires are not available as a separate spare part, so finding the right tire is more difficult. Spare parts catalogs are available at the links here:

Digital 124 spare parts
Evolution Spare Parts (1:32)
Digital 132 spare parts
Spare parts Exclusiv (1:32)
Spare parts Go!!!
Digital 143 spare parts

Finding a tire step by step:

  • the car’s catalog number is usually indicated on the bottom of the car – the 1:24 series is in the range 20023xxx, the 1:32 Evolution series has the ranges 20025xxx and 20027xxx, the Digital 132 series has the ranges 20030xxx and 20031xxx. Further in the article, we will omit the initial 200. For example, the Digital 132 Ford GT Race Car black has the catalog number 20030857 and 30857, respectively.
  • You can look up this car number in the catalog and find the “Reifen tires” column. This column lists the catalog numbers of the tire spare part. For the Ford GT Race Car above, the tire type is 89800 (20089800).
  • You can find a tire under this catalog number on our e-shop – enter this number in the search dialog and the correct tire will be returned to you – if we have it on offer
  • In the e-shop, you can also try searching directly by car number, we are gradually adding the numbers and names of the respective cars to the tire description. However, the descriptions are not always complete – 89800 tires fit more than 100 cars, so the description only includes types, not all catalog numbers.

If you can’t find the right tires with us, don’t worry – if you send us the car, we’ll make the tires right for you – send us an e-mail at info@slotcarspneu.eu and we’ll make an agreement.
